DangerkittyToTheRescueAfter a long day's work running their dog washing shop, the Stooges with Curly pushing their broken down car, happen across a baby on the doorstep of a nearby home. Assuming that its mother has abandoned the child, they pick up the baby and take it to their apartment. The boys intend on turning the baby over to the police, but decide to feed the little kid first despite an “Absolutely, no Children" rule in their apartment.
The stooges notice the newspaper headlines stating that the baby has been kidnapped and in a panic, they don different disguises in attempts to fool and evade the authorities.
The boys finally get caught and by a stroke of luck, the baby’s parents are on hand to vouch to the police for the stooges.
This short ends with the boys giving the little shaver a bath in their dog wash.
Moe,,,, “I don't know. It was my idea, but I don't think much of it.”
Personal opinion,,,, I cannot say that I cared for the Charley Chase directed shorts as much as many others. His shorts seemed to have a different flair and strayed from the typical primitive slapstick that the stooges used to solve problems.
