A 2004 burial in Allendale, S.C., is just now being investigated after relatives learned that the deceased, a 6-foot-7-inch man, was somehow laid to rest in a 6-foot-long coffin that was part of his prepaid plan.
Huh, that's real odd. The body is not any shorter than it was before, right?
Fulcrum TV has placed ads, looking for a terminally ill person to volunteer to be mummified. I guess it's a scientific project, as the scientist wants to see if he can successfully duplicate the process done by the ancient Egyptians. The mummy would then be displayed in a museum.
Perhaps they could use a recent cadaver? *shrug*
Also wanted to point out that some people have made requests for their bodies to be
taxidermied and/or preserved after their deaths, so I am not entirely surprised that Fulcrum TV is asking people if they want to be mummified. (Interesting article about that
