Saw a thread at the Classic Horror Film Board about Big Lots selling DVDs for $3.00 a pop and decided to try mine out.
My first haul (about 3 weeks ago) consisted of:
SWAMP THING (1982)
FROGS (1972)
THE BROOD (1979)
THE MAGIC SWORD (1962)
THE GHOUL (1933)
THE FALL OF THE HOUSE OF USHER (1960)
ROLLERBALL (1975)
A BUCKET OF BLOOD (1959)
THE FOG (1980)
THE SNOWMAN (1982) - wonderful, animated Christmas tale.
About a week later, I went back and found:
"X" THE MAN WITH THE X-RAY EYES (1963)
INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS (1978)
IN COLD BLOOD (1967)
HOWLING II: YOUR SISTER IS A WEREWOLF (1985)
Now, just today, I stopped back in and got:
JACK THE GIANT KILLER (1962)
SCANNERS (1981) - picked up a copy for my son as I already owned it.
Pretty sweet stuff for 3 bucks. Great quality discs too - many of which are Midnight Movies. And they seem to be re-stocking and getting some different titles in each time.
